The 2nd Annual DOG LOVERS UNITE Pledge Walk!
Saturday, May 16th, 2009
Now is your chance to gather your friends, relatives, neighbors, and co-workers to walk for those who can’t! Join us with your pet for an enjoyable 2 mile walk on the wonderfully paved path around beautiful Sunny Lake in Aurora, Ohio . The scenery is breathtaking! What a wonderful way to share the afternoon with your four legged friend(s) and help raise much needed $$$ to care for adoptable dogs waiting for homes AND help find a cure for Tay-Sachs Disease, a degenerative neurological disease. (Please view Dakotas Dream on www.youtube.com for a touching story of a very brave, young, local girl afflicted with Tay-Sachs and hear of her family’s efforts to find a cure.)

Registration 1:00pm -- walk begins promptly at 1:30pm
$5.00 registration fee per person
1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners for the most pledges collected
All dogs will receive Dog Lover’s Unite bandana & certificate
Set a pledge goal! Post your pledge sheet at work or have your company sponsor you! Ask friends, neighbors, and relatives to join you in your pledge quest! Please bring your pledge sheet the day of the walk!
